WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
Doing the simple things well. For example, keeping clients updated throughout, being frank with the advice and finding solutions from the outset.
AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
I take great pleasure in doing the simple things in life. Long weekends away, cycling, swimming, gym, walking, theatre, cinema and just being with people who mean so much to me in my life.
WHAT DO YOUR CLIENTS LIKE ABOUT YOU AND THE WAY YOU WORK?
I believe I am a good communicator using plain straightforward language, personable, friendly and easy to work with. I work closely with clients to understand their objectives and tailor the advice accordingly. Always looking for a positive result with an ability to provide guidance when under pressure.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
I like to think of my work as dispute resolution rather than litigation as there are many ways to resolve a dispute. I am strong believer in mediation and always believe Court should be viewed as a last resort. In any dispute if the parties are not careful they can very quickly become entrenched in costly and uncertain litigation unable to find a way out. The phrase “See you in Court!” nowadays belongs very firmly in the past and rightly so.
TELL US A LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?
Used to play croquet when younger and represented Ireland in the World Championships and Home Internationals. Was also the Captain of the Middlesex croquet team.
