WHAT DREW YOU TOWARDS PRIVATE Client LAW?
Without exception, the people who come to me for help want to see their life’s work protected. But everyone’s life choices are unique, so the way their personal, legal, financial, and tax affairs are woven together is different every time. Building estate plans needs me to be curious and creative, which I really enjoy.
As a Private Client lawyer, I get to ask questions that cover everything from garden gnome collections to multi-jurisdictional property portfolios. No other area of law is quite like it!
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
Estate planning covers a lot of ground, and the options can be quite complex, so it’s important that my clients can access the right information to make informed decisions at their own pace.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
There’s plenty of myth and misinformation when it comes to Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Tax so I work hard with every client to make sure that they receive the guidance they need, when they need it. I give my clients access to my day so that they are free to schedule time to talk whenever it suits them.
WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
Hiking, Craft ale, and a warm bed. And repeat.
