“I enjoy that every decision in a business has a financial outcome.”
Rhodri Jenkins
What do you enjoy about your job?
I went into finance on the advice of my father, who authored books on Management and organisational design, but didn’t himself have a finance background. I appreciated that in Finance you are involved in all aspects of the business. It is this part that I enjoy most as every decision in a business has a financial outcome.

What have been the highlights of your career to date?
In 2017, Network Rail asked me to help them dispose of their £100m per annum Commercial Property business. I became CEO and successfully guided the sale to private equity for £1.5bn and it was Property Week’s Deal of the Year 2019.
How do you unwind outside of work?
Sport. I played rugby and cricket for many years (way past when I should have retired!). I would describe myself now as a passionate (and resilient!) fan of Cardiff City Football Club, Welsh Rugby (and Football) and England Cricket.
Also a regular theatre goer both in Cambridge and the West End.
