The first 10 years were spent at a PLC and then a move into private practice and SMEs followed. Growing and nurturing law firms, businesses and importantly people and clients over the decades would appear to be in my blood. I simply love what I do, achieving results for my clients and others along the way is a bonus.

I have a diverse range of clients who range from litigation funders and insurers to high-net-worth clients and often those referred to me are dissatisfied with the pedestrian approach of their current lawyer.

WHAT DO YOUR CLIENTS LIKE ABOUT YOU AND THE WAY YOU WORK?

Clients often come to me as they face difficult circumstances or where they feel left down by their current lawyer and are looking for someone who is fearless with a no-nonsense approach to the task in hand with an ability to cut through the pomp and white noise.

I actively listen; I am honest and refuse to give false hope, but I am not one to give up if I think there is even a little bit of an edge to give a result.

Refreshingly I am still one of those lawyers that loves picking up the phone so they know not only that I am available and can talk through matters but also that I’ll happily call my opponent to deal with issues head on.

All my clients know where they stand, and they are never left wondering what’s going on.

AWAY FROM THE WORLD OF LAW, WHAT DO YOU ENJOY?

I love to travel whenever I can and squeeze every pip of spare time doing just this. Seeing the world feels like an absolute privilege especially doing it with those I love.

Day to day, dog walks around Bath with Klaus von Stauffenberg (Klaus for short!) brings a smile come rain or shine and to use up energy I have a passion for boxing
