EXPERTISE
Laura has over 6 years’ experience working in Conveyancing and has a wealth of experience advising clients on complicated and sensitive conveyancing matters.
TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT YOUR CAREER TO DATE / IN LAW?
It all started as a secretary for my mother who is a Wills and Probate Solicitor. Since then I have worked in Family, Large Loss and Catastrophic Injury but now fully focus on Conveyancing.
AND YOUR CLIENTS?
I have always had a range of clients, from first time buyers to companies with huge property portfolios. I pride myself in supporting clients who’s circumstances may be difficult.
DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR AREA OF SPECIALITY?
All aspects of residential conveyancing including remortgages, transfers of equity, freehold sales and purchases, leasehold sales and purchases.
WHAT DREW YOU TOWARDS PROPERTY LAW?
I enjoy the fast paced crazy environment, and, making a difference in people’s lives whilst trying to give them a positive experience along the way!
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT BEING A LAWYER?
I enjoy being able to support people at their time of need particularly given that a house purchase or moving house is widely regarded as one of the most stressful things anyone will experience.
AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
I’m quite an outdoorsy person really; I own a rare-breed horse who I am going to be competing with soon. I also enjoy tinkering with my vintage tractors and attending tractor rallies. I’m a very big fan of Banger racing and try to attend events as much as possible.
HOW DO YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
I ensure that I listen to them. If they have an issue with something I will go above and beyond to fix it. I try to be myself and ensure that they know I am a person, rather than a robot who doesn’t truly care.
TELL US A LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?
Although I may seem quite into agriculture, I am not a good house plant parent unfortunately.
