TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT YOUR CAREER TO DATE / IN LAW?
I’ve worked in residential conveyancing for over 20 years and I still genuinely love helping people move home. For most people, buying or selling a property is one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make, and I believe the legal process should feel supportive rather than stressful.
Throughout my career, I’ve always enjoyed working closely with clients and building lasting relationships. I’ve acted for clients across Dorset, London and the South Coast, and what has remained constant is the importance of communication, trust and practical advice.
I like to understand what’s important to people, keep things moving and be there to guide them through every stage of the transaction.
Moving house is stressful enough without feeling left in the dark. I believe in picking up the phone, having honest conversations and making sure clients always know where they stand. Taking the time to speak with people, manage expectations and provide practical advice has always been at the heart of how I work.
AND YOUR CLIENTS?
My clients range from first-time buyers taking their first step onto the property ladder through to families, business owners and individuals buying or selling higher-value properties across Dorset, London and the South Coast.
Having grown up in Dorset and worked extensively across Poole, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Southampton and Winchester, I have a strong understanding of the local property market and the challenges that can arise in more complex transactions. Alongside this, I have considerable experience acting on London property matters, including leasehold transactions and more complex titles, giving me a broad perspective across different markets.
Many of my clients come to me through recommendation and return at different stages of their lives because they value straightforward advice, regular communication and having a lawyer who is accessible when they need support.
I particularly enjoy helping first-time buyers navigate the process with confidence. Buying a home can feel overwhelming, and I want clients to feel like they’ve had their hand held throughout the journey, with someone they can trust to guide them every step of the way.
