Rhodri Lewis Appointed Non-Executive Director of S4C

We are pleased to announce that Rhodri Lewis, Head of Carbon Sport has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of S4C, following appointment by the Secretary of State. The role will be for a four-year term commencing on 1 September 2026.

The appointment recognises Rhodri’s experience across the sports, legal and governance sectors. A qualified solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience, Rhodri has held legal and commercial roles in London, Asia and Switzerland, working with governing bodies in both football and rugby union before joining Carbon to lead our specialist sports practice.

Since joining Carbon, Rhodri has advised clubs, governing bodies, athletes, agents and sports businesses on a wide range of commercial, regulatory and governance matters. His ability to combine legal expertise with an understanding of the realities of professional sport has established him as a trusted adviser across the sector.

Alongside his professional work, Rhodri is a Trustee of the Geraint Thomas Cycling Trust and serves on the Urdd’s Sports and Apprenticeships Board. He is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
