My route into law is through the Level 7 solicitor apprenticeship, which allows me to work directly on matters while studying towards my LLB, Postgraduate Diploma, and eventually my qualification as a solicitor. I find the combination of academic study and hands on practice an incredibly rewarding way to develop myself within my career, academic, and personal life.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
I am naturally a detail oriented person, so the written work involved in property law suits me well. Whether I am reviewing a lease or drafting correspondence, I enjoy the precision it demands and the satisfaction of getting the detail right.
WHAT DO YOUR CLIENTS LIKE ABOUT YOU AND THE WAY YOU WORK?
I think clients appreciate that they are always kept in the loop. Property disputes can he stressful, and uncertainty makes that worse, so I make a conscious effort to provide clear and detailed updates at every stage. This ensures that matters are handled thoroughly and nothing falls through the cracks. I want every client to feel that their matter is being given the care and focus it deserves
AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
Outside of work and my studies I love travelling and try to explore somewhere new whenever I can, especially to experience new places and new food. I also do reformer pilates classes to stay active throughout the week to compensate for any pub trips that may take place at the weekend with my friends and family!
