Carbon GC has been created for businesses that have outgrown reactive legal advice but are not yet ready for a full-time in-house General Counsel. The service provides clear judgement, embedded legal leadership and commercially grounded support, helping leadership teams make confident decisions at critical moments in their development.
The launch of Carbon GC sits alongside Carbon’s four sector-focused groups – Infrastructure, Agriculture, Family Office and Sport – forming part of the firm’s continued investment in building a platform that combines deep sector expertise with leadership-level legal support.
Carbon GC will be led by Sarah Morbey, who joins the firm as Head of Carbon GC. Sarah brings significant senior in-house experience across the full breadth of General Counsel responsibilities, including multi-national, PE-backed and high-growth environments, with expertise spanning M&A, complex commercial negotiations, intellectual property, data and privacy, governance and stakeholder management.
Her ability to combine legal expertise with practical, commercially grounded judgement makes her a trusted adviser to founders, boards and leadership teams navigating high-stakes decisions.
