TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT YOUR CAREER TO DATE / IN LAW?
When my children reached school age, I started as a part time receptionist within a law firm and soon moved on to a Conveyancing Secretary role. Once my children were secondary school age, I took the leap and trained as Licensed Conveyancer with the Law Training Centre and have not looked back since.
AND YOUR CLIENTS?
My clients range from first time buyers, families wishing to move who have outgrown their current home, people looking to downsize and clients purchasing buy-to-lets to build their portfolio.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT BEING A LAWYER?
Contact with the clients and achieving their goal in finding their new home.
WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
Communication is important to me. Being available to keep clients, agents, and solicitors updated in the progress of the transaction is paramount. I find this helps built good relationships and I am lucky that many clients have since returned.
AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
I enjoy socialising with family and friends. Otherwise, I love cooking and baking cakes, when I have the time!
WHAT DO YOUR CLIENTS LIKE ABOUT YOU AND THE WAY YOU WORK?
Clients appreciate my honest approach and the fact that I keep them informed at all times. I am always responsive to emails and phone calls to discuss their matter.
