We are delighted to announce the addition of Rhodri Lewis to Carbon as the leader of our newly established sector, Carbon Sport. Marking the next step in our firm’s ongoing expansion and commitment to specialised legal services. With leading individuals now in place in our Infrastructure, Agriculture and Family Office Sector groups all from top 75 practices in the UK, Carbon is committed to attracting the best talent to serve our clients. 

Rhodri brings an exceptional pedigree to this role. After training and qualifying at Freshfields, he subsequently moved to roles at UEFA and The Football Association, before spending 14 years at the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) where he led the Legal Team and was appointed as Commercial and Legal Director in 2021. His deep industry knowledge and leadership skills make him well placed to spearhead our new sports-focused practice.

In the coming months, Rhodri will work with senior management at Carbon Law Partners to develop and implement the strategic direction for Carbon Sport. Our intention is to offer comprehensive legal solutions tailored for sport, but also to innovate ways in which these services are delivered.
