Welcome to James Allum, a new Partner at Carbon, based in Bristol. James joins us with a wealth of experience in Commercial, Development, and Investment Property law.

A Proven Track Record

James’s legal career started at the tender age of 17 as a legal assistant. Since then, his journey has gone from strength to strength. After obtaining his law degree with first-class honours from the University of the West of England, he then furthered his education with a Merit in Legal Practice Course and MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law, Bristol.

James has worked in private practices as well as in-house at a development company specialising in the HMO sector. Noteworthy milestones include managing transactions such as the exchange on a £3.285m purchase within just four weeks of Heads of Terms and completing on a sub-sale of a £1.7m purchase within two weeks.
