Carbon Law Partners is pleased to announce that Ram Doug has joined the firm as a Private Client Partner.

Ram brings circa 30 years of experience advising individuals and families across a broad range of private client matters. His practice includes wills, probate and estate administration, together with more technical areas of work including inheritance tax planning, trusts, Family Investment Companies and wider estate and succession planning.

Prior to joining Carbon, Ram spent a number of years working within a locum and freelance environment, building significant experience and developing a reputation for providing practical, client-focused advice. He has now chosen Carbon as the platform from which to build the next stage of his practice.

Ram‘s arrival further strengthens Carbon’s Private Client offering and provides additional support for clients requiring more complex planning advice, particularly around wealth preservation, succession and inheritance tax.

Commenting on his appointment, Ram said:

“Having considered a number of options for the future of my practice, Carbon stood out because it offers the right balance of independence, support and collaboration. The platform allows me to focus on delivering high-quality advice to clients while being part of a wider network of experienced lawyers. I’m looking forward to building my practice and working closely with colleagues across the firm.”

Michael Burne, Founder and CEO of Carbon Law Partners, added:

“Ram brings significant experience and technical expertise to Carbon. His knowledge of inheritance tax planning, trusts and estate structuring strengthens our Private Client capability and creates additional opportunities to support both our existing clients and professional introducers. We are delighted to welcome him and look forward to supporting him as he develops his practice.”

Ram will work closely with colleagues across the business, particularly where private client advice intersects with property, family, corporate and wealth planning matters.

Everyone at Carbon would like to welcome Ram to the firm and wish him every success in his new role.
