We’re pleased to announce that Rhodri Jenkins will be joining Carbon Law Partners as Chief Financial Officer from 1 April.

Rhodri’s appointment marks a further step in the continued evolution of Carbon – strengthening our leadership team as we invest in the future of the business and the people within it.

Over the past decade, Carbon has built a platform designed to create the conditions for exceptional lawyers to flourish. As we continue to grow and scale, the strength of our financial leadership becomes increasingly important.

Rhodri brings significant experience in financial strategy, operational discipline and supporting growth businesses. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

He spent over a decade on the Operating Board of a high-growth, highly acquisitive FTSE plc, where he served as Director of Financial Control & FP&A. Since then, he has specialised in CFO roles delivering transformation projects for organisations – including law firms – looking to make a step change in organisational and financial performance.

His experience spans start-ups, SMEs and large international organisations, with work delivered across Europe, Australia, India, the Far East and the US.

As CFO, Rhodri will play a central role in ensuring Carbon continues to scale in a thoughtful, sustainable and well-managed way.

Michael Burne, CEO, commented:

“Bringing Rhodri into the business as CFO is an important step for us.

As we continue to grow, having strong financial leadership is about much more than control – it’s about making better decisions, allocating capital effectively, and building a business that lasts.

Rhodri brings experience, judgement and a practical approach that fits well with how we operate at Carbon. Just as importantly, he understands that our business is built around people – creating the conditions for talented individuals to do their best work.

This is another investment in the future of Carbon, and I’m really pleased to have him joining us.”

Rhodri Jenkins, Chief Financial Officer, added:

“I’m excited to be joining Carbon at this stage in its journey.

What stood out to me is the clarity of the vision and the strength of the platform that’s been built. There’s a real opportunity to continue scaling the business in a way that stays true to its culture while supporting long-term growth.

I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on that foundation and support the next phase of development.”

Rhodri joins the business on 1 April 2026.
