We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, David King, who recently joined us as a Partner. With an impressive career spanning three decades, David is highly regarded and known for his excellent work, particularly in the telecoms sector.

David brings an extensive background in advising mobile phone operators, site acquirers, investors, and businesses involved in land acquisition within the renewables sector. His expertise in infrastructure, especially in telecoms, promises to bolster our firm’s capabilities in serving diverse commercial needs.

Beginning his legal journey with Morgan Bruce in 1994, David founded his own successful firm, MLM Cartwright, in 2001. Later, in 2016, he became an equity partner and head of the Telecoms practice at Hugh James after their acquisition of his firm. Now, he continues his career with us, adding significant value and insight into the strategic expansion of our services. Our clients will benefit enormously from David’s approach to the law, combining a commercial mindset and a personable working style.

Outside the world of law, David’s appreciation of engineering inspired him to begin a collection of cars and that fondness for collecting extends also to matchbox cars. Balancing work with family time, travel, and friendships, David embodies a well-rounded enthusiasm both in and out of the office.
