What attracted you to join Carbon Law Partners?
Freedom to run my own business, in line with my ideas and aspirations but knowing that CLP are behind me, offering the support and resources which allow me to reach my goals. I want each of my clients to have confidence in my ability to provide legal services to them and Carbon puts me in the best position to do that.
How would you describe your first day here?
Very welcoming, I received lots of emails from other partner’s welcoming me to the team!
Can you share a highlight from your first month with us?
Being able to run my own files with my own autonomy (with the help of Emel who works alongside me).
How have you found the support from your team and other colleagues?
Excellent – if I ever have any questions of queries, the team at CLP are always on hand and happy to help.
In what ways has working here met or exceeded your expectations?
The decision to work for myself was a very daunting decision to make, having always been employed by a firm. Carbon has allowed me to grow and make my dreams a reality – always knowing that I have the resources and assistance through Carbon to assist.
How does your role here at Carbon differ from previous positions you’ve held?
I have always been employed and this is the first time I have worked for myself. I’m enjoying being allowed to go the extra mile for my clients and having sole responsibility for my relationships with clients.
Are there any aspects of your job now that you find more fulfilling compared to past roles?
Having my own autonomy and being responsible for an employee who I work alongside although daunting, is also extremely fulfilling. Knowing I’m in charge of where my career goes next is empowering.
What are some goals you’re hoping to achieve in the next year with Carbon Law Partners?
I hope to be able to continue expanding my business and my team. I know that however my professional goals develop that Carbon’s model is jointly invested in me achieving them.
How do you think being at Carbon will help in achieving these goals?
I feel confident that I will be able to do this knowing that Carbon can offer the resources and support which will enable me to grow my business.
What advice would you give someone considering a move to Carbon?
